This view shows Coast Road looking North towards Church Farm , what is now the Turnstone pub. The road is little more than a country lane , with no pavements. The old church tower can be seen.

This picture shows two holiday makers on a four wheel bike... In those days there wasnt the danger of heavy traffic , also the caravan site is where Watson Close estate is now.
